About this Release

• If a user is a Company Account Manager, they will no longer be allowed to remove Account Manager Read Write. They will be directed to contact their Authorized Reps or Maintenance Managers to process the request through Membership Maintenance
• PKI certificate expiring notifications will get sent "30,20,14,7,4,3,2,1,0" days before the PKI cert expires.
• User Name will be included in emails requested for password resets.
• Users will have the ability to export a csv report of all of their access for an accounts.
• User Registration API: Allow companies to register users using an externally available API.

User Certification Enhancements based on CAM Feedback from User Certification 2022

• User Certification User Interface (UI) Enhancements: Easier usability and consolidated visualization of certification data
• SUMA Enhancements: Enhancement with pop up window to ensure that CAMS see all user access in order to certify them in whole
• Counter Display: Will show total number of completed certifications vs. the total number of certifications that a CAM is required to certify
• Bulk Certify: Will allow CAMs to certify multiple users at a time
• Bulk Terminate: Will allow CAMs to terminate multiple user at a time in the Certification User Interface
• Recently added accesses will not be included in certification
• Status Column: Updated to include Partially Completed certifications

Security Questions

The security model has been updated for security password reset questions to ensure that users only have three responses to three questions. Some users had responses to both the old questions and the new questions which resulted in errors with the Forget Password functionality therefore some users will be required to provide security questions answers again due their answers being wiped out of the system to eliminate this error.

User Certification Enhancements based on CAM Feedback from User Certification 2021:

• Ability to take actions such as terminating a user account from the User Certification Screen
• Ability to “bulk terminate” user accounts
• When a user account is terminated, all access will be marked as certified
• Ability to download a report with user accounts that need to be certified
• Making it clearer if certification is in progress or has been completed
• Enhanced email communications to include reports of user accounts not certified

Whitelist Update - The term Whitelist will now appear as Allow List on the Account Manager User Interface. The function of adding an Allow List is the same as when it was being referred to as Whitelist.

Account Manager Email Enhancements

On 10.27.2021 , PJM will be updating account-related emails to a new look and feel. Some of the messages may change to improve the clarity of the actions that need to be taken and who to contact if additional support is needed

• Access Search Tab now includes Email Address for search
• User Search page includes a reason why a user account is locked by hovering over the lock icon
• User Access Pending Tasks updated to include email and phone number for searching
• On the Profile Page, the Member Company’s Authorized Representative and Maintenance Manager will be displayed
• Update csv report for User Search by adding Employed as column

Account Manager User Interface Enhancements

• Add instructions to add accounts search for access
• Separate out Name back into First and Last Name on User Search page
• Link to profile on username on User Search
• Add separate System Account Search
• Update New User confirmation message for System, Normal and Other account
• Password validation rules updates
  • Password must be between 10-16 characters.
  • Passwords must, at a minimum, contain one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character (only: ()!$`~:.,<>=?^_{}[]|)
  • Password cannot contain username, first name, last name, company name.
  • Password cannot be changed more than 5 times in a single day.
  • Providing invalid security answers when using the Forgot Password feature will lock the user after 4 consecutive attempts.

User Registration Enhancements/Fixes based on user feedback

• Allow users to be set up under a subaccount if a whitelist is registered on the subaccount
• Allow system accounts to be set up under subaccount if a whitelist is registered on the subaccount
• Fix select all feature on account table when adding whitelists to only add whitelists to the current selection
• Small bug fixes on the User Registration page

Existing Feature Improvements

User Registration Workflow
PJM developed an new registration workflow process to enhance the security for which Member accounts users can register. Users will only be presented with a list of companies for which the domain of their email matches a Member whitelisted domain. Users will be required to specify their Employed As relationship to the Member Account for which they are registering their account under. Users will be able to request access to tools for subaccounts under the main accounts.

System Account Workflow
PJM developed an new registration workflow process to enhance the security for System Accounts to ensure the System Account is accurately logged into Account Manager as a System Account separate from User Accounts. The new process will require an owner be specified for the System Account.

User to Member Relationship (Employed As)
As part of the Know Your Customer initiative, PJM would like to have a person who has a user account in Account Manager specify their working relationship relationship or Employed As Relationship with the Member company they are associated with in Account Manager.

Password Reset
As a means to increase the security and usability of Account Manager, PJM is requiring all users to update their credentials with new security questions and answers that will allow them to better reset their passwords. Users will not be required to update their answers all at once, but will rather unfold through the following scenarios:

• When a user proactively changes their security question answers
• When a user has their password reset
• When a user's credentials need renewed after their natural expiration

Existing Feature Improvements CAM Enhancements

1. Merger User - This feature allows company CAMS to convert the users they manage with multiple accounts to a Single User Multiple Account user with only one user name and password to manage.
2. Migrate User- This feature will allow company CAMS to migrate a user’s profile to the main company account the user is associated. This feature is in preparation for an initiative next year where PJM will be requiring that users specify their relationship to a main company account in Account Manager.

CAM Enhancements

• User Search - User Interface Page Modification
  • Incorporated lock icon in first column to visually indicate account is locked. This is not intended to be clickable.
  • Edit action icon moved to linking name
  • Last name and first name columns combined to Name
  • Company long name and short name columns combined to Company column with short name in brackets
  • Phone number column removed
  • Account Type column added to remove 4 columns and show the fields below. This column would have multi-select filtering, which isn’t mocked up yet.
• A CAM can now reset password for more than one user
• Multi-select to add tool access to more than one user account
• The CAMs will now be able to approve all access requests for a user at one time rather than have to do each access request one by one
• A CAM can now terminate a SUMA User's accesses at the Account level

User General

• Updated error message to advise the user should contact their company CAM

User Profile

• Reset Criteria-Only 4 characters are now required for password reset answers ( used to be 5)

Whitelist

• CAM can select more than one account for which they are a CAM to add a whitelist rather than having to do it one at a time.
• Rather than type ahead on Company Search field, this is now a drop down field.
