Resource Adequacy Planning

PJM is responsible for the annual forecast pool requirement (FPR) development process and associated unforced capacity obligation process. The development of the FPR begins with the reserve requirement development process utilizing load forecasts as well as other resource reports. These results are all moved into Capacity Exchange.

The materials contained on this site encompass both planning and actual data and as such offer those visiting the site a concise view of both our forecast and actual load, generation and obligation values used in the resource adequacy planning processes. Further, the obligations and allocations shown here are the basis for possible deficiency determination and charge allocations.
