Interconnection / Upgrade Requests
Process Description
PJM’s queue-based process offers developers the flexibility to consider and explore their respective business opportunities. While a developer can withdraw at any point, the process is structured such that each step imposes its own increasing financial obligations on the developer.

Regional Transmission Expansion Plan (RTEP) Report
PJM's RTEP Report is published annually by PJM to convey the results of planning studies throughout the previous calendar year and to explain the rationale behind why transmission system upgrades are needed. The report discusses system drivers, reliability criteria violations and upgrades for reporting purposes to facilitate greater RTEP understanding.
A complete list of all approved RTEP upgrades, a brief description of facility and driver, as well as, construction status is available.
The activities of the Transmission Expansion Advisory Committee provide the primary stakeholder forum for the ongoing exchange of ideas, discussion of issues and presentation of RTEP upgrades.
Stakeholder Groups
